About This Wine:
This wine originates from Riesling grapes left to raisin on the vine during late autumn with further concentration occurring when the berries were frozen solid by the onset of winter. Selectively harvested and pressed at temperatures below -10˚C, they produced a nectar-like sweet wine with an impeccable balance of acidity.

A subtle but complex nose of Sultanna raisins, poached pear, comb honey, apple crumble and candied orange zest. The palate is lusciously sweet and unctuous up front, with preserved pineapple, dried apricot and mandarin orange flavours abounding. A clear citrus note emerges toward the middle, with a discrete yet cleansing acidity that tightens the palate and leads into a very balanced finish of nectarine, fresh honeycomb and allspice.
Raw milk or Stilton cheese with nuts and fresh or dried fruits; foîe gras; biscotti; panforte; crème brûlée; Baklava
This vintage delivered sound fruit and high acid levels, promising an Icewine that will continue to develop in the bottle for at least until 2025.
