About This Wine:
This wine originates from selected Niagara Peninsula vineyards in close proximity to the south shore of Lake Ontario. Well-drained loamy soils laced with shale and sandstone, along with moderating on-shore breezes, alllow for a gradual ripening of this cool-climate variety, producing a Pinot Gris with crisp fruit and soft textures.

Lincoln Lakeshore - Clay loam till over red shale.
Beamsville Bench – limestone-rich clay till overlying sandstone and shale.
100% Pinot Gris

Titratable Acidity- 7.41 g/L
Extended whole berry skin contact; followed by gentle pressing and a long, cool fermentation in stainless steel to near dryness using a selected yeast to retain varietal typicity.

This wine offers perfumed notes of orange blossom and ripe cantaloupe, with soft herbal scents reminiscent of sage, thyme and mint in the background. The palate is rich and medium bodied, with ripe flavours of melon and red apple on the front and middle palate. A refreshing seam of acidity emerges for balances, carrying very persistent orange peel flavours long onto the finish.
